Every course which I took helped me grow wonderfully - which caused a direct effect on my ministry. (Myanmar, '05 Grad)
Asia has a plethora of religions and invites a tendency to blend some of the old practices . . . That's why we insist that students be able to discern what is biblical, what is unbiblical; what is truth, what is untruth; and not simply accept everything that is presented to them. (Dr. Nienhuis)
I recommend this program to my friends and colleagues because the program is very helpful to our ministries. We do not get a degree only but also receive spiritual lessons. (Myanmar, '05 Grad)

Books, taped lectures, postage and handouts are at additional cost and will be listed on the individual fee assessments. Books and materials produced or purchased by the ABTS Headquarters office will be supplied to the student at cost. Postage for shipping extension courses is paid by the student.
Students make private arrangements for travel and accommodations for seminar courses and pay their own expenses. Contact the country coordinator for information about available housing near the seminar site.
All fees are payable on the first day of a residence seminar or before the beginning of an extension course. Payments may be made in local currency to the country coordinator or to the on-site ABTS representative at residence seminars. Payment may also be made by US dollar check if desired, made payable to the ABTS. American missionaries may make arrangements to transfer funds directly from their mission to the ABTS account at ABWE.
The spouse educational benefit is intended to provide spouses of ABTS students with opportunity to participate in the theological educational experience in order to promote a shared pilgrimage of growth and learning. The spouse of an ABTS student, regardless of prior academic record, is entitled to audit any class with his/her spouse free of charge. This audit opportunity provides for class attendance only; course work will not be submitted or graded and there will be no official academic record. The benefit is not applicable to courses the student audits or to courses the spouse takes for credit.
The cost to audit a course will be 1/3 of the regular cost of tuition. Inside Myanmar, where all Myanmar students enjoy extensive tuition remission, Myanmar audits pay the same as credit students.
Financial refund of tuition is available for extension courses or residence seminars according to the table below. Course materials are yours to keep.
