I recommend this program to my friends and colleagues because the program is very helpful to our ministries. We do not get a degree only but also receive spiritual lessons. (Myanmar, '05 Grad)
I did not just learn about the knowledge but the life examples of the professors and everyone in ABTS. Your examples challenged us to go to the mission field by faith. (Hong Kong Student)
Every time I take a new course in this program, my spiritual life is refreshed. My desire to study God's Word is greatly promoted. My prayer life is deepened. I always thank God for sending me to this program. (Myanmar Grad '05)
Extension courses consist of audio-taped lectures, accompanying diagrams, and written explanations prepared by the professor to guide you in your course of study. These courses will be completed in your place of residence.
Your course will be assigned to an ABTS faculty member. Any questions that surface as you take the course may be directed to the Singapore office via letter, fax, e-mail or phone.

Study procedures for our popular reading courses
Students who are interested in self-designed independent studies should contact the Singapore office. E-mail abts@abtscu.org.
Students may register for an extension course at any time that is convenient for them by contacting the Singapore office.
The staff there will respond with a fee assessment. Materials will be posted to the student when payment is received. The course will begin on the 15th of the following month. Four months will be allowed for course completion.
We will accommodate requests to study during a specified four month period if we possibly can. Please allow approximately 6 weeks between the date of registration and the beginning of the course in order to allow time to process the registration and post the materials.
It is strongly recommended that students enroll in only one extension course at a time. They may, of course, complete courses in less than the allotted four months and register for a second course while completing the first one.
Students are not allowed to enroll in more than two courses at the same time except by special permission from the Dean.
Completed assignments should be sent to the Singapore office. The best method for submitting assignments is by e-mail attachment to abts@abtscu.org. Posted work must be postmarked on or before the course completion date. Students should keep copies of their work to safeguard against loss in the mail or in cyberspace.
If the student is unable to complete the course requirements, he may apply for an Incomplete or withdraw from the course according to the rules outlined in our catalog.
NOTE: It is the student’s responsibility to file for an Incomplete or to notify the Seminary office for withdrawal.
