The biblical holistic approach helped me to understand the excellent perfect plan of God for His people. My eyes have been opened, my worldview & thinking methods changed. (Thailand, '05 Grad)
The program brought a renewed exuberance and passion to me and the ministry where God has called me. (Philippines, '05 Grad)
Asia has a plethora of religions and invites a tendency to blend some of the old practices . . . That's why we insist that students be able to discern what is biblical, what is unbiblical; what is truth, what is untruth; and not simply accept everything that is presented to them. (Dr. Nienhuis)
It is vital that all students understand the following information in order that they may successfully complete their course of study and graduate from the program. Please read everything carefully and make sure that you have met all requirements. Contact the Singapore office about any concerns you may have. Your country coordinator or the resident faculty will also be happy to advise you.
Checklists for the degree programs are provided to assist you in planning your program of study.

It is the student’s responsibility to assure that he/she has completed the necessary requirements in accordance with the checklist. A checklist displaying successful completion of all academic degree requirements must be submitted for approval prior to graduation.
All students are required to complete a Student Learning Assessment (SLA) for each course, plus three Ministry Follow-Up Reports (FUR) for each degree, analyzing attempts to apply new concepts in a ministry context. These reports, together with assessments from the professors, are gathered together into a portfolio kept in the Singapore office and reviewed before graduation. Although individual course assignments are cited in these forms, the assignments themselves are not retained in the portfolio.
Final summative reports involve the student’s Summative Evaluation of his/her growth during the degree program. A Ministry Evaluation is currently being developed. This form will be completed by a ministry supervisor or colleague assessing/verifying at least five years of professional or lay ministry.
A tracking sheet to help you keep track of the various graduation requirements can be uploaded below.
