ABTS courses are available in two formats.
ABTS residence courses are offered in seminar format. Students gather in a central location for the 2 week intensive seminar. They return home to complete post-seminar assignments, due 3 months from the end of the seminar. Students may register for seminar courses by

Please register one month prior to the first day of a seminar course in order to prevent the course from being cancelled for insufficient registration. Priority will be given for textbook distribution to students who register ahead of time.

Students may complete 62% of their degree program through taped or readings courses posted to the student's home. Extension courses may be scheduled for any 4 month period of study. Please allow 4 weeks for processing registrations.

The total course load, including both residence and extension courses, will be a maximum of two courses. Students who manifest discipline in completing course work may enroll in a third course with the approval of the Dean.
No one may take a course for credit without enrolling in ABTS; however, persons may audit courses without enrolling. Students who are enrolled in ABTS may also audit courses if they wish. The cost to audit a course will be 1/3 of the regular cost of tuition. Arrangements to upgrade from audit to credit status must be made with the professor during the seminar. The extent of participation in the class by an audit student should be arranged between the professor and the student.
