I did not just learn about the knowledge but the life examples of the professors and everyone in ABTS. Your examples challenged us to go to the mission field by faith. (Hong Kong Student)
I learned very much from the examples and experiences of the lecturers -- and it clarified my theological thinking and my commitment to Christ's mission. (Indonesian Graduate '05)
Every time I take a new course in this program, my spiritual life is refreshed. My desire to study God's Word is greatly promoted. My prayer life is deepened. I always thank God for sending me to this program. (Myanmar Grad '05)
ABTS exists as a ministry of local churches and our partnership agencies, the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) and Cornerstone University (CU). As a ministry, we endeavor to make graduate-level theological education affordable to students in SE Asia who might otherwise not be able to afford it. Thus, tuition rates are scaled to each country's economy, and do not cover the costs of the education students receive. For this reason, all of our faculty and staff positions are filled by duly qualified individuals who raise their own support and in turn help to support ABTS by means of work funds. Other gifts from interested people help sustain the yearly operating budget.
There are many opportunuties available to you if you would be interested in joining with ABTS in developing Church leadership throughout this vital region of the Lord's Harvest Field. Please take a few moments and explore the links from this page to see how you might be able to engage with us in the task of advancing the Kingdom of God.
