Immanuel Ebenezar

Dr. E.D. Immanuel Ebenezar is a theologian, researcher, and post-doctoral fellow specializing in comparative religions, inter-religious relations, and religio-cultural tourism. He serves as a RUSA Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Madras, where his research focuses on optimizing regional religious tourism. He has extensive university teaching experience in biblical languages, scriptures, and Christian history.

An active scholar in intercultural philosophy, Dr. Ebenezar has published numerous articles exploring shared architectural traditions and lived multi-religious experiences. He previously served as an editorial contributor to Oxford University Press’s Oxford Encyclopaedia of South Asian Christianity and received an IASACT research fellowship from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
