Ben Hernandez

Benjamin A. Hernández is a seasoned lead pastor, academic instructor, and researcher specializing in homiletics (the art of preaching). He serves as the Lead Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Holland, Michigan, and has led congregations across New England and the Midwest since 2008.

Dr. Hernández has taught Christian preaching and served as a teaching assistant for Bible exposition at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Combining a unique background in both business administration and applied theology, his academic research focuses on historical preaching methods. He is an active member of the Evangelical Homiletics Society and a co-author of a published work on historical Christian teachers.
