Mary Byrd Huff

Counseling Coordinator

With a deep desire to love God and love our neighbors, especially those who have yet to experience a relationship with Christ, Mary arrived in SE Asia more than 28 years ago. Along with her late husband, she has worked to equip and empower believers to share God’s love in word and deed.

She is currently involved in a local organization dedicated to supporting churches and communities as they carry out transformative projects in underdeveloped, impoverished, or marginalized areas. These initiatives focus on agricultural development, vocational training, and human rights advocacy—providing practical tools that foster dignity, sustainability, and hope.

In keeping with her desire to equip and empower believers, she is excited to join the staff at ABTS as students begin a new program in Christian counseling. With a background in pastoral care and counseling, she looks forward to walking with students as they navigate new territory and providing support to faculty.
